An Unbroken Chain

Summer 2017

A collaborative performance with Vanessa Reynolds, in which crochet serves as a metaphor for human movements through space and time, every generation a link in the chain. Vanessa creates mesmerizing soundscapes using loop pedal and her inherited musical legacy while Levon Kafafian practices two skills passed through the women on their father’s side of the family: crochet and storytelling.
